Procedures

Neighborhood Paws operates from 9AM-4PM Monday through Friday. Weekend and Evening service is available upon request on a first come, first served basis.  All clients must be able to provide a set of keys for entry, or have a lockbox/key code available.  We highly recommend having a "service notebook" on hand to be filled out by walkers after outings.  Invoicing will be completed via email.  We accept cash, personal checks, or online credit card/PayPal payments.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations for services MUST be made 24-48 hours prior to receive a full refund. If a client needs to cancel due to a medical emergency, we will happily refund you for the day's services.  All other cancellations are subject to a full charge.  Remember, we're a small business, so please be kind and give us notice ahead of time! All training packages are non-refundable.

Weather & Holidays

Rain, sun, snow, wind―we've seen it all! We brave the elements year round to make sure that your pups are being well cared for while you're out of the house. Safety is our main priority, so in the case of torrential rain, thunderstorms, or extremely high temperatures, please be aware that outings are subject to be shortened. ALL weather-related cancellations will be made via e-mail. Alerts will also be posted on all of our social media accounts, so keep an eye out for any notifications. Please note that there is a $5 rate increase for holiday visits.

Neighborhood Paws is closed on:

  • Labor Day

  • Indigenous Peoples' Day

  • Thanksgiving (day only)

  • Christmas (Dec. 24th & 25th)

  • New Years Day

  • Martin Luther King Day

  • Memorial Day

  • Independence Day

We are open all other holidays, unless notified otherwise.
